MEET SARAH FARRAR
Sarah was born in Savannah, Ga. and raised in the small town of Estill, S.C. She currently resides in Greenville, S.C. with her husband and two children. She holds a Bachelors from Clemson University and a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Science and Occupational Therapy from The Medical University of S.C.
Sarah has always had a passion for art. Like her grandmother, an artist, and her oldest brother, an artist and graphic designer, Sarah found her balance and her peace in the art of painting... creating works that are both colorful and full of emotion! She is constantly driven to explore what objects and ideas inspire her. Some of her inspirations have come from her childhood summers spent in the coastal town of Bluffton, SC. Recently, though, abstracts and collage have become a favorite. Inspired by what is both cultivated by man and created in nature, Sarah is drawn to the unique coordination of color, balance, form, and mood. Her mediums of choice include watercolor, gouache, acrylics, and ink on canvas and paper. Sarah prefers her collage pieces to be playful and fun. She uses acrylic, ink, paper, and textiles to create artwork that you can get lost in.
